Nicely designed and constructed. I am a retired Dentist and have used ULTRASONIC scalers for 50 years. I bought this out of curiosity because I could not imagine how it could be built for such a low price. This device operates at a MUCH lower frequency than a professional scaler and probably does not meet the definition of ULTRA-sonic. I would call it SONIC, NOT ULTRA-sonic. It can remove soft calculus and plaque but would struggle with hard, stubborn calculus. Better than nothing and I cannot complain about the price.
